Graduate Trainee - Finance

About the role

Safal Group is seeking a motivated Graduate Trainee to join its finance team in Nairobi. This entry‑level position offers recent university graduates the opportunity to develop a solid foundation in finance and accounting within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the finance department with day‑to‑day accounting and reporting tasks.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis activities.
• Collaborate with operational teams to understand and apply financial theories and models.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline.
• Maximum two years of post‑university experience.
• Age 28 years or below.
• At least a B+ grade in KCSE and a strong academic record.
• Demonstrated leadership potential and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to comprehend operational practices based on theories and models.
• Willingness to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
