About the role
We are looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen in Westlands, Nairobi. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high‑quality Swahili dishes as well as international favorites such as pizzas, burgers and pastries while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and service.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and plate Swahili cuisine, pizzas, burgers and pastries according to menu specifications.
- Supervise kitchen staff, delegate tasks and ensure smooth daily operations.
- Monitor food safety and hygiene regulations, conducting regular checks.
- Work efficiently under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
Required profile
- Diploma or relevant training in Culinary Arts or Professional Cookery.
- Minimum 36 months of relevant experience in a hospitality or hotel kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality operations and hotel standards.
- Ability to lead a team and manage kitchen workflow.
