Head of Sales – Elevators (Kenya)

About the role

The Head of Sales will lead the elevator sales growth strategy across Kenya, driving revenue and market share in the vertical mobility sector. This senior leadership position requires a dynamic professional with extensive experience in sales management, business development and team leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in elevators and escalators.
• Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and projects across commercial, residential, healthcare, and hospitality sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, consultants, contractors, and developers.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to deliver high performance and achieve KPIs.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform business decisions.
• Work closely with operations, technical, and finance teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and strategic insights to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in elevator, escalator or vertical mobility solutions.
• Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
