History Teacher

About the role

Oshwal Academy, a private international school in Nairobi offering the British curriculum, is seeking a qualified History Teacher to join its dynamic team. You will deliver engaging history lessons to students from primary through secondary levels, fostering critical thinking and a deep appreciation of the subject.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver history lessons aligned with the British National Curriculum.
• Prepare students for examinations and conduct grading and assessment.
• Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
• Develop and update curriculum materials and teaching guidelines.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in History or Education (B.Ed.)
• Minimum of four years teaching experience in history.
• Registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) in Kenya.
• Experience with the British curriculum is an advantage.
