Hospital Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

The Hospital Maintenance Supervisor will lead the day‑to‑day maintenance of M.P. Shah Hospital’s facilities, ensuring that all building services operate safely and efficiently. This role combines hands‑on technical work with team leadership in a fast‑paced, patient‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, assign, supervise and evaluate daily maintenance activities across the campus.
• Ensure timely completion of preventive and corrective work and monitor maintenance request response times.
• Coordinate emergency maintenance to minimise service interruptions.
• Conduct routine inspections of hospital buildings, infrastructure and critical systems.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and maintain accurate records.
• Supervise technicians and artisans, allocate work, run toolbox meetings and mentor staff.
• Manage contractors and multidisciplinary maintenance teams.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in maintenance operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in a hospital or healthcare environment is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to manage contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
