Hotel Cashier

About the role

Stedmak Gardens is seeking a reliable Hotel Cashier to manage payments across its various guest services, including the restaurant, amusement park, animal park, swimming pool, and other hotel amenities. The role is essential for delivering smooth, accurate transactions and excellent customer service to guests.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process customer payments (cash, M-Pesa, cards, etc.) and issue receipts.
• Operate and maintain the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Balance daily cash collections and prepare reconciliation reports.
• Provide courteous assistance to guests while handling payments for multiple hotel facilities.
• Maintain accurate transaction records and ensure compliance with cash handling procedures.

Required profile

• Certificate or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of one (1) year of cashiering experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong numerical ability, integrity, attention to detail, and good communication skills.
• Computer literacy with experience using POS systems considered an advantage.
