Hotel Supervisor – Full-time

About the role

The Hotel Supervisor will oversee daily hotel operations in Nairobi, ensuring high standards of service, guest satisfaction, and efficient coordination across all departments. This full-time position reports to senior management and plays a key role in maintaining operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day hotel operations, monitor compliance with policies and service standards.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints and special requests, ensuring a positive guest experience.
• Manage front office, housekeeping, restaurant and support staff, including duty rosters and performance monitoring.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas, report maintenance issues and ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Coordinate food and beverage services, uphold food safety and hygiene standards.
• Monitor inventory of housekeeping, food, beverage and operational supplies, supporting cost-control initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and hospitality regulations and manage incidents according to procedures.
• Prepare daily operational and shift handover reports, maintain records of guest feedback and staff performance.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Tourism Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in hospitality operations.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of hotel operations and service standards.
• Understanding of health, safety and hygiene regulations in hospitality.
• Basic inventory and cost-control practices.
