Hotel Supervisor – Nairobi

About the role

The Hotel Supervisor will oversee daily operations at our Westlands property, ensuring seamless service delivery and a high level of guest satisfaction. You will coordinate across departments, manage staff, and uphold the hotel’s standards of cleanliness, safety, and hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day hotel operations and monitor compliance with policies and service standards.
• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly, aiming to improve satisfaction scores.
• Manage front office, housekeeping, restaurant and support staff, including duty rosters and attendance.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms, public areas and facilities, reporting maintenance issues.
• Support food & beverage services, ensuring food safety, hygiene and coordination with kitchen teams.
• Monitor inventory of housekeeping, food, beverage and operational supplies, assisting with stock‑taking and waste reduction.
• Ensure health, safety and regulatory compliance, and respond to incidents according to procedures.
• Prepare daily operational and shift handover reports, maintaining records of guest feedback and staff performance.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Tourism, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in hotel operations or supervisory roles.
• Strong communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to lead, coach and mentor a diverse team.

Required skills

• Knowledge of hotel operational procedures and service standards.
• Experience with inventory control and cost‑management practices.
• Understanding of health, safety and hospitality regulations.
