HR Business & Reporting Analyst – Analytics & AI

About the role

The HR Business & Reporting Analyst will drive data‑powered decision making for Equity Bank Kenya’s people function. You will turn workforce metrics into actionable insights, build predictive dashboards and support strategic HR planning.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse headcount, recruitment SLAs, turnover and retention data to produce insight‑led reports.
• Develop predictive models for talent needs, attrition risk and productivity analytics.
• Automate HR reporting using Power BI, Excel VBA, Smartsheet and emerging AI/GenAI tools.
• Build and maintain integrated HR dashboards that combine HRIS, payroll and workforce data.
• Monitor HR budget performance, forecast OPEX and recommend cost‑efficiency actions.
• Coordinate annual HR business planning, board paper preparation and high‑impact presentations for senior leadership.
• Redesign HR processes through AI‑enabled automation and ensure compliance with internal controls.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in HR analytics, reporting or related functions.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into strategic recommendations.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams (HR, Finance, Operations) and presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Attention to data quality, consistency and governance.
