About the role

This 3‑month HR internship at Weetabix East Africa Ltd offers students or recent graduates a structured learning experience in human resources. You will work alongside seasoned HR professionals and gain practical exposure to core HR functions within a leading food manufacturing company.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment and selection processes, including posting vacancies and screening candidates.
• Support the maintenance of employee records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Contribute to employee engagement, training initiatives, and wellbeing programs.
• Help implement HR policies, monitor workplace discipline, and uphold confidentiality standards.
• Use HR tools, trackers, and systems to document activities and generate reports.

Required profile

• Current student or recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong interest in building a career in Human Resources.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of labour and employment law.
• Understanding of employee contracts.
• Familiarity with talent management and planning concepts.
