HUB Coordinator

About the role

The HUB Coordinator will lead the establishment, development and daily operations of Welthungerhilfe’s Global Admin HUB in Nairobi. The role supports the ZAMI initiative to increase process efficiency, compliance and digitalisation across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Build, lead and continuously develop the Global Admin HUB and its Nairobi team.
• Recruit, onboard and train HUB staff in coordination with the Head Office.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations, ensuring service delivery meets agreed Service Level Agreements.
• Coordinate the transition and integration of operational processes and systems into the HUB.
• Act as the main liaison between the HUB, Country Offices and Head Office to align workflows.
• Ensure compliance, quality assurance and audit requirements across HUB‑managed processes.

Required profile

• A university or technical college degree in a relevant field.
• 2–5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in Global South contexts.
• Experience coordinating and organising operational processes; financial processing of projects is a plus.
• Strong leadership and people‑management abilities to guide a diverse team.
• Excellent organisational, coordination and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent English; additional language such as French or Arabic is advantageous.
