Human Resource Generalist

About the role

The Human Resource Generalist will provide structured, responsive, and high‑quality HR operational support to assigned client accounts. The role coordinates recruitment, payroll, compliance, training, and employee lifecycle activities to ensure consistency, accuracy, and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary operational support contact for assigned client accounts, maintaining communication on HR activities and tracking action points.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end recruitment processes, including job posting, CV screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
• Facilitate onboarding and off‑boarding, preparing contracts, documentation, and managing induction and exit procedures.
• Assist in payroll data collection, validation, and submission, and support statutory compliance (NSSF, NHIF, PAYE, Housing Levy).
• Support training needs assessments, logistics, participant communication, and post‑training reporting.
• Implement HR policies, SOPs, and disciplinary processes; draft HR correspondence and track employee issues.
• Prepare structured HR reports, maintain dashboards and trackers, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
• Identify inefficiencies in HR processes and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Entry‑level position with up to 24 months of HR experience.
• Experience in recruitment, payroll, employee lifecycle management, and HR compliance.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
