Human Resources Supervisor

About the role

The Human Resources Supervisor will provide strategic support to the HR team within the Mobile Internet Business Group, ensuring effective HR operations across Kenya and the broader East Africa region. This role works closely with business managers, the Overseas HR Leader and the Regional HR Manager to drive employee engagement and align local policies with global standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support the HR team in delivering HR services to business managers in the Mobile Internet Business Group.
• Assist the Overseas HR Leader and Regional HR Manager in overseeing day‑to‑day HR operations, employee engagement and interpretation of local policies.
• Provide HR expertise in Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits and Performance Review for the group, both within Kenya and across East Africa.
• Collaborate with Chinese HR Business Partners worldwide to understand country‑specific requirements.
• Partner with African Group HR teams to implement relevant local HR policies.
• Handle ad‑hoc tasks related to all functional HR matters for the Mobile Internet Business Group in Africa.

Required profile

• Proven experience supporting HR functions in a multi‑country environment, preferably within the technology or mobile internet sector.
• Strong understanding of employee engagement, talent acquisition, compensation, benefits and performance management processes.
• Ability to work closely with regional and global HR leaders and translate policy requirements into practical actions.
• Excellent communication and partnership skills to coordinate with Chinese and African HR teams.
