About the role
As an ICT Systems Engineer you will lead the development and implementation of automated workflows, system integrations and process improvements that boost operational efficiency and support scalable growth. You will also strengthen the organisation’s cybersecurity posture and help design, implement and optimise the ICT infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
- Automation Leadership – Build and deploy Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, and SharePoint solutions. Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual workloads and improve efficiency. Champion adoption of low‑code applications across departments.
- Cybersecurity & Compliance – Monitor, detect, and neutralise cybersecurity threats using industry‑standard tools. Implement IAM, endpoint protection, and network security controls. Conduct vulnerability assessments, patch management, and security audits. Lead incident response and forensic investigations.
- System Design & Implementation – Deploy and maintain ICT systems with scalability, reliability, and security in mind. Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Server & Infrastructure Administration – Manage Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policies, and Microsoft 365 services. Perform updates, patches, and backups to ensure system reliability and performance. Optimise network infrastructure including switches, routers, wireless access points, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
- ICT Support & Service Excellence – Provide expert‑level support for hardware, software, and enterprise applications. Resolve escalated service‑desk tickets quickly and accurately. Support onboarding/off‑boarding processes including device provisioning and secure access. Maintain documentation, knowledge bases, and ICT procedures. Collaborate with teams to embed innovative digital solutions into operations.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in ICT support, systems administration, or cybersecurity.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365.
- Practical cybersecurity experience (endpoint protection, IAM, MFA, SIEM tools, vulnerability management).
- Certifications such as Microsoft Power Platform, Security+, AZ‑900, SC‑900, Cisco, MCSE, and CCNP are highly desirable.
