ICT Teacher

About the role

Fadhili International School is seeking a passionate and innovative ICT Teacher to join its academic team. The role involves planning and delivering engaging ICT and Computer Science lessons that develop learners’ digital literacy, computational thinking and responsible use of technology.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging ICT and Computer Science lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
• Teach practical computer and technology skills appropriate to learners’ age and ability.
• Develop learners’ understanding of programming, computational thinking, digital literacy and emerging technologies.
• Integrate technology effectively into classroom learning and other curriculum areas.
• Assess, record and report learners’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive and well‑managed learning environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Computer Science, Education (ICT) or a related field.
• Recognised teaching qualification or relevant teacher training.
• Demonstrable teaching experience, preferably in a school environment.
• Strong classroom management, communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to learner development, safeguarding and professional standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript or Scratch.
• Experience with robotics, coding clubs or STEM projects.
• Knowledge of AI and emerging educational technologies.
• Familiarity with digital learning platforms and smart‑board equipment.
