Independent iOS (Swift) Software Developer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a highly independent iOS Software Developer with strong Swift expertise to join us on a long‑term contract. The first task is to build a modern shopping‑list app using an already prepared architecture, UI/UX assets, and design specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a native iOS application in Swift based on existing designs.
• Write clean, maintainable, production‑ready code.
• Perform testing, debugging, and performance optimisation.
• Maintain and enhance the app after launch with new features.
• Proactively suggest improvements to performance, usability and code quality.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional iOS development experience.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Own a recent MacBook and an iPhone/iPad for testing.
• Self‑driven and able to work with minimal supervision.

• Google Firebase (auth, storage, database, notifications, analytics)
• Git and modern development workflows
• AI‑assisted coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT/Codex, Windsurf)
• Adobe Photoshop (or similar) for asset preparation
• MVVM, Clean Architecture (nice to have)
• Automated testing and CI/CD pipelines (nice to have)
