Independent Sales Representative – Commission Based

About the role

Flash Credit Africa is seeking motivated independent sales agents to originate and manage credit relationships across Nairobi. This contractor role is performance‑driven, offering commission on disbursed loan value and a clear route to full‑time employment for top performers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and recruit creditworthy individuals and SMEs within the assigned market segment.
• Explain loan products, pricing and terms transparently to prospective borrowers.
• Guide applicants through the loan application process, ensuring complete KYC documentation compliant with CBK and Data Protection Act requirements.
• Submit applications via the company’s Daraja API‑linked platforms accurately and promptly.
• Adhere strictly to Central Bank of Kenya conduct requirements and Flash Credit Africa lending policies.
• Maintain client confidentiality and handle personal data only as authorized.
• Complete all compliance and product training before engaging clients.
• Maintain regular contact with onboarded clients throughout the loan lifecycle and flag early signs of default to the Recoveries team.
• Provide accurate prospecting, conversion and pipeline reports to the Business Development lead.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated individual able to work independently in a field‑based environment.
• Strong communication skills to explain loan products and terms clearly.
• Commitment to strict compliance with CBK regulations and the Data Protection Act.
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality and handle sensitive personal data.
• Willingness to complete all required compliance and product training.

Required skills

• Experience using API‑linked platforms, specifically Daraja API.
