Information and Technology Intern

About the role

The Information and Technology Internship at KeNIC offers recent graduates a hands‑on experience in IT operations, network management and technical support. You will work closely with internal and external staff, gaining exposure to real‑world challenges while building a professional network.

Key responsibilities

• Assist internal and external support staff with troubleshooting and technical issues.
• Perform WHOIS checks, data cleanup and maintain system documentation.
• Support day‑to‑day network and system administration tasks as assigned.
• Contribute to any additional IT‑related work required by the team.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Basic understanding of network protocols and system administration.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication and teamwork abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with network protocols and system administration tasks.
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles.
• Ability to conduct WHOIS queries and perform data cleanup.
