About the role
The Instructor will deliver practical instruction and student training at Maseno University, teaching courses up to the Bachelor’s level in the relevant discipline. This full‑time position is on a three‑year renewable contract and reports to the Deputy Vice‑Chancellor (Administration, Finance and Development).
Key responsibilities
- Lecturing and delivering curriculum content up to Bachelor’s level.
- Preparing teaching and learning materials for classes.
- Setting, invigilating and marking examinations and assignments.
- Conducting research under the guidance of senior academic staff.
- Preparing student progress reports and scholarly publications.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in the relevant field (or Bachelor’s degree with registration for PhD).
- Registration or eligibility for registration with the appropriate professional body.
- Demonstrated merit and ability reflected in work performance.
- Proficiency in relevant computer applications.
