Inventory Clerk (Full‑Time)

About the role

The Inventory Clerk will manage daily cash transactions, support customers at checkout and maintain accurate inventory records. This full‑time position is based in Westlands, Nairobi and reports to the finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process customer payments via cash, mobile money or card, issue receipts and balance cash drawers.
• Reconcile daily sales with accounting records and prepare cash summaries for finance.
• Provide courteous service at the checkout, handle inquiries and resolve payment issues.
• Maintain transaction logs, submit daily reports and flag any discrepancies.
• Follow company policies on cash handling, fraud prevention and audit compliance.

Required profile

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in inventory or warehouse management.
• Hands‑on experience with inventory systems and reporting tools.
• Strong record‑keeping, organizational and time‑management abilities.
