IT Assistant – ERP Techno-Functional Support

About the role

The IT Assistant – ERP Techno-Functional Support will work under the Head of Digital to assist in the implementation, maintenance and optimisation of ERP solutions across the organisation. The role blends technical know‑how with functional business insight to ensure smooth ERP operations and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Support ERP implementation, configuration, and ongoing optimisation.
• Collaborate with users and departments to translate business requirements into system solutions.
• Provide first‑level technical and functional support for ERP‑related issues.
• Coordinate with vendors, developers and internal stakeholders during implementation and support phases.
• Assist in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), training and documentation.
• Monitor system performance, generate reports and ensure data accuracy.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and improvement.
• Contribute to broader digital transformation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, Business Information Systems or related field.
• 3‑5 years of full‑time experience with ERP systems.
• Participation in at least one complete ERP implementation cycle (Tier 1 or Tier 2).
• Strong understanding of business processes and ability to bridge technical and functional requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• ERP implementation, configuration and support.
• Experience with Tier 1/2 ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, Odoo, Infor or ERP Next.
• Database knowledge and reporting tools.
• System integration concepts.
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system testing.
