IT Intern – Support ICT Operations

About the role

The IT Intern will assist the ICT Officer in maintaining the college’s technology infrastructure, supporting staff and students, and ensuring smooth operation of digital learning tools.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level technical support for computers, printers, internet connectivity and software applications.
• Install, configure and maintain computer hardware, software and operating systems.
• Assist in maintaining the institution’s network, Wi‑Fi and computer laboratories.
• Support digital learning platforms and manage user accounts.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, data backup and follow ICT security procedures.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date inventory of ICT assets and document support activities.
• Provide ICT assistance during meetings, trainings, online classes and examinations.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, networking, Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems.
• Previous internship or practical ICT experience is an advantage.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and organizational skills.
