IT Specialist

About the role

The IT Specialist will own day‑to‑day IT operations for EIDU worldwide, ensuring staff have reliable, secure, and well‑supported technology. This hands‑on position blends troubleshooting hardware and software issues with managing security, access control, and SaaS tools.

Key responsibilities

• Act as first‑point helpdesk for hardware, software, and connectivity problems.
• Configure laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals for new hires and manage device handover for leavers.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of equipment, licenses, and coordinate repairs or vendor support.
• Provision and de‑provision user accounts across Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, and other cloud services.
• Manage group memberships, distribution lists, shared mailboxes, and drive permissions.
• Track SaaS subscriptions, renewals, and evaluate tool usage.
• Monitor and maintain antivirus/endpoint protection on all devices.
• Track IT vendor contracts, costs, and flag budget or renewal issues.

Required profile

• Hands‑on technical mindset comfortable fixing laptops and addressing security challenges.
• Strong attention to detail for inventory and access management.
• Ability to document issues and build internal knowledge resources.
