Junior Business Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Business Analyst to join our banking projects on a contract basis. You will work closely with the Head of Projects and other stakeholders to gather requirements, analyse data and support short‑term initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Elicit and document business requirements and produce Business Requirements Documents.
• Perform structured analysis and data visualisation to support decision‑making.
• Manage project schedules, risks and issues for small‑medium projects (0‑8 months).
• Coordinate with stakeholders, provide regular status reports and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Support testing activities and quality assurance processes.

Required profile

• 1‑4 years of hands‑on experience in a banking environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including technical writing.
• Project management knowledge and ability to work under supervision.
• High‑level diploma in Project Management or a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Economics or related field.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher is preferred.

• MS Project 2010.
• Outlook, Google Workspace (Docs, email).
• Dropbox, OneDrive, SharePoint.
• Jira, Confluence and TestRail.

What we offer

• Contract role with a monthly salary between KES 105,000 and KES 150,000.
