About the role
We are looking for a Junior Stores Person to support the efficient day‑to‑day operations of our stores department in Nairobi. In this role you will maintain accurate inventory records, receive and issue stock, organise storage areas and ensure proper documentation and control of all stock movements.
Key responsibilities
- Receive, inspect and record incoming goods and materials.
- Issue stock against authorised requisitions and maintain accurate records.
- Organise and maintain proper storage of materials and products.
- Assist with regular stock counts and investigate inventory variances.
- Update stock records and ensure all stock movements are properly documented.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages, damages or discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, organised and secure stores environment.
Required profile
- Diploma in Logistics, Procurement or a related field.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in stores, warehouse, logistics or procurement.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer and documentation skills.
