Key Account Executive – Nairobi

About the role

Emerge Egress Consulting is seeking a proactive Key Account Executive to build and nurture client relationships across corporate, brand and event partners. You will be the primary point of contact from the initial enquiry through event execution and post‑event follow‑up, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, brands, organisations and event partners.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities for conferences, corporate events, launches, activations, exhibitions and other events.
• Manage existing accounts, driving repeat business and additional event services.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, pitch presentations and respond to event briefs and RFPs.
• Coordinate with creative, production and operations teams to translate client requirements into delivered events.
• Oversee client communication throughout planning, execution and post‑event phases.
• Participate in client presentations, negotiations and contract discussions.
• Monitor budgets, timelines and deliverables to ensure projects stay on track.
• Conduct post‑event follow‑ups, gather feedback and identify future opportunities.
• Track sales pipeline, account performance and revenue, and produce regular reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in account management, sales or business development.
• Experience in event management, advertising, marketing or media is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and achieve business growth.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
