Landscape Designer

About the role

Oakridge Nursery is seeking a qualified Landscape Designer to lead projects from the first client conversation through design, construction completion, and billing. This full‑time position offers a competitive wage, incentive plan, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive corporate culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead each project from initial phone call and concept design through construction and final billing.
• Develop and deliver client presentations and design proposals.
• Assess and quantify materials, plants, and products required for each project.
• Answer client calls in a friendly, professional manner.
• Collaborate with construction teams to ensure design intent is executed correctly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Design or Architecture.
• Minimum 3 + years of successful design, sales, and project‑management experience.
• Impeccable integrity, strong work ethic, and self‑motivation.
• Proactive problem‑solving approach and excellent follow‑through.
• Professional appearance, strong verbal communication, and a positive, can‑do attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of hardscape design and construction.
• Extensive plant knowledge relevant to the region.
