Lead People Partner

About the role

M-KOPA is seeking a Lead People Partner to own the people agenda for its largest market in Kenya. You will act as a strategic advisor to the Kenya leadership team, shaping organizational design, workforce planning and people strategy as the business scales.

Key responsibilities

• Advise senior leaders on org design, workforce planning and talent strategy.
• Own talent reviews, performance calibration and succession planning for the Kenya client group.
• Lead employee‑relations resolution and ensure compliance with Kenyan labour law.
• Drive organizational change initiatives, including restructurings and cross‑functional projects.

Required profile

• 8+ years progressive HR/People Partner experience, with 3–6+ years advising director‑level executives.
• Strong knowledge of Kenyan labour law and hands‑on experience handling employee‑relations escalations.
• Proven track record designing and executing org‑design, workforce planning or succession frameworks.
