Lead Site Reliability Engineer - Imunify Reliability Platform

About the role

This is a greenfield Site Reliability Engineering leadership opportunity for a security‑focused product platform. The Lead SRE will define health metrics for roughly 70 components, build telemetry pipelines, and establish observability standards across cloud services and customer‑hosted agents.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and monitoring standards for ~70 product components.
• Design a telemetry collection pipeline that balances push‑based collection, sampling, privacy, and data quality.
• Extend instrumentation across Python, Go, and Rust services in partnership with engineering teams.
• Consolidate dashboards and reporting into a reliable observability platform, retiring low‑value tooling.
• Implement symptom‑based, SLO‑driven alerting with multi‑window burn‑rate principles and clear runbooks.
• Build a machine‑readable ownership and escalation model, define severity levels, and establish follow‑the‑sun incident handling.
• Coach engineering squads on operational ownership, paging, and blameless post‑mortems.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading SRE or reliability initiatives in large‑scale, security‑oriented environments.
• Strong ability to work remotely in an async, outcome‑focused culture.
• Excellent collaboration skills with engineering leads and senior engineers.
