Learning Management System (LMS) & Systems Integration Specialist

About the role

The Senior Consultant will lead the design, deployment, and integration of enterprise Learning Management Systems for institutions across Eastern Africa. The role focuses on ensuring seamless interoperability between digital learning platforms and existing ICT environments while promoting cloud‑based and mobile learning solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and implement enterprise LMS solutions.
• Integrate digital learning platforms using APIs and standards such as SCORM, xAPI, and LTI.
• Deploy scalable cloud‑based and mobile learning architectures.
• Provide technical leadership on systems integration and digital platform architecture.
• Ensure LMS integration with existing institutional ICT infrastructure.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, ICT or related field.
• Moodle Certified Professional or equivalent LMS certification.
• Relevant cloud or API integration certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).
• Minimum 10 years of experience designing and implementing enterprise LMS platforms.
• Proven experience delivering complex ICT or digital transformation projects, preferably for government, financial, higher‑education or development partners.
