About the role

The Standard Media Group is looking for a motivated Legal Intern to support its Legal Department. This short‑term placement offers hands‑on exposure to media‑related legal matters and the chance to develop practical law skills in a dynamic newsroom environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior lawyers with legal research and drafting of memoranda.
• Support the review and preparation of contracts, licensing agreements, and compliance documents.
• Help monitor regulatory updates affecting media operations.
• Participate in meetings with internal stakeholders to gather information for legal analysis.
• Maintain organized files and databases of legal documents.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Law; completion of Law School is an advantage.
• Strong interest in media, communications, or corporate law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
