Liability Sales Manager – Fixed Deposit

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Liability Sales Manager to lead our Fixed Deposit business, develop liability growth strategies and drive deposit acquisition for LOLC Kenya Microfinance Bank.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement liability growth strategies for assigned product lines.
• Act as primary point of contact for liability and deposit products.
• Ensure complete documentation and onboarding of new deposits.
• Provide training and guidance to other departments on liability products.
• Cross‑sell additional banking products to existing customers.
• Gather market intelligence and support Business Development and Product teams.
• Plan and execute marketing campaigns to boost liability business.

Required profile

• Minimum five (5) years experience in deposit‑taking micro‑finance banks, fund management or wealth management.
• At least a C+ grade in KCSE and a bachelor’s degree or higher diploma in a business‑related field.
• Self‑starter with ability to work independently to achieve corporate goals.
• Excellent communication, reporting and numerical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet and email.
