About the role
Oshwal Academy, a private international school in Nairobi, is seeking a qualified teacher to join its dynamic team. The position is full‑time and based on the Westlands campus, supporting the British curriculum from pre‑school to Year 13. The successful candidate will play a key role in nurturing academic excellence and preparing students for further education.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver lessons in accordance with the British National Curriculum.
- Prepare students for examinations and conduct grading.
- Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive learning environment.
- Participate in curriculum development and school events.
Required profile
- Graduate degree in Education (B.Ed.) or related field.
- At least four years of teaching experience in the relevant subject area.
- Registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) in Kenya.
- Experience with the British curriculum is an advantage.
Required skills
- Teaching and lesson planning.
- Exam preparation and grading.
- Classroom control and authority.
- Educational testing.
