Line Quality Controller

About the role

The client, a leading logistics company specializing in perishable goods such as fresh‑cut flowers and produce, is looking for a Line Quality Controller. The role is based in the bouquet‑making facility where you will ensure every bouquet meets customer specifications and strict quality standards while supporting production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead an assigned production line, balancing output targets with quality compliance.
• Perform real‑time online and finished‑product inspections to verify adherence to SOPs and customer specifications.
• Conduct intake quality checks, temperature monitoring, post‑harvest solution verification, and packaging material inspections.
• Identify, correct, and promptly escalate any quality non‑conformances.
• Coach and supervise line team members on flower handling, machine operation, hygiene, and GMP requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of quality checks, rejections, temperatures, production activities, and training.
• Support sample preparation, finished‑product verification, and dispatch readiness.
• Collaborate with intake, production, supply‑chain, and quality teams to resolve issues and optimise line performance.
• Enforce hygiene, PPE usage, and health & safety standards on the production line.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business, Quality Control, Logistics or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in sales and marketing with thorough knowledge of flowers.
• Experience coordinating supply‑chain activities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret data and identify trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
