Logistics and Supply Cell Advisor

About the role

The Logistics and Supply Cell Advisor will support Médecins Sans Frontières operations in Kenya by ensuring that humanitarian logistics and supply chain processes run smoothly and efficiently. This senior position requires strong technical expertise and the ability to work in complex, often insecure environments.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor logistics activities across multiple projects and missions.
• Manage procurement, warehouse operations, stock control and fleet management.
• Provide technical advisory and support to field teams on supply chain matters.
• Implement and improve logistics and inventory systems, ensuring compliance with MSF standards.
• Support emergency response operations and capacity‑building initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Management, Humanitarian Affairs or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in humanitarian logistics or supply chain management.
• Strong field experience in complex or insecure operational settings.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; French is a strong asset.
• Previous experience with Médecins Sans Frontières or similar NGOs is highly preferred.
