Logistics Fleet & Service Center Manager

About the role

Crystal Africa Cleaning Service Limited is seeking an experienced Logistics Fleet & Service Center Manager to oversee its vehicle fleet, in‑house workshop, and depot operations in Nairobi. The role combines fleet tracking, maintenance supervision, and service‑center management to ensure reliable transportation and high‑quality service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor real‑time vehicle tracking systems, driver performance, routes, fuel consumption and trip logs; produce regular utilization reports.
• Supervise preventive maintenance, routine servicing and emergency repairs for Isuzu and Fuso/FI trucks in the company workshop.
• Manage daily depot activities, including car‑wash operations, parking flow and overall cleanliness standards.
• Control spare‑parts inventory, maintain vendor relationships and track workshop tools and equipment.
• Ensure fleet compliance with NTSA regulations, insurance, speed governors and inspection certificates.
• Lead, schedule and evaluate mechanics, car‑wash staff and fleet support personnel.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Automotive Engineering, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Fleet Management or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience managing commercial vehicle fleets and supervising automotive workshop/service‑center operations.
• Strong practical knowledge of diesel engine mechanics, maintenance systems and heavy‑vehicle diagnostics.
• Proficiency with telematics, GPS tracking platforms and fleet‑management reporting software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical problem‑solving and team‑leadership abilities.
