Logistics & Supply Chain Internship

About the role

The Logistics & Supply Chain Internship at TDH Foundation supports the organisation’s operations in Nairobi and the Kiambu field office. Working under the Logistics Officer and in close collaboration with the Logistics Manager, the intern will gain hands‑on experience across the full logistics cycle, from procurement to asset management.

Key responsibilities

• Receive procurement requests, manage quotation processes and track purchase requisitions from receipt to delivery.
• Maintain and update procurement databases, trackers and asset registers.
• Assist in joint verification of goods and equipment to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Liaise with suppliers to establish delivery schedules, monitor performance and support pre‑qualification activities.
• Prepare supplier payment documentation for timely submission to Finance.
• Support tagging, monthly spot‑checks and physical verification of assets in line with TDH asset management policy.
• Ensure adherence to TDH and donor guidelines, reporting any suspicion of corruption through established mechanisms.

Required profile

• Motivated individual with a strong interest in logistics and supply chain operations.
• Ability to follow TDH procedures and work under direct supervision of the Logistics Officer.
• Good organisational skills for managing multiple trackers and documentation.
