Luxury Travel Expert

About the role

The Luxury Travel Expert works remotely to design and sell bespoke high‑end golf and safari itineraries across Africa for travel‑agent partners. The role involves consulting agents, creating customized itineraries, preparing quotations and managing bookings from inquiry to post‑travel follow‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Research and curate luxury accommodations, golf courses, safari experiences and add‑on activities.
• Coordinate with on‑the‑ground operations teams and suppliers to ensure seamless execution.
• Prepare accurate quotations, manage pricing, margins and maintain detailed client and booking records.
• Respond promptly to agent requests and provide post‑travel follow‑up.

Required profile

• Proven experience in luxury travel consulting or tour operating, especially in golf or safari segments.
• Strong knowledge of African destinations (South Africa, East Africa) or ability to develop deep regional expertise quickly.
• Excellent communication and client‑service skills, able to build trust with travel agents.
• Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple inquiries and deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems and booking platforms.
• Strong numerical literacy for pricing, quotations and margin management.
• Competence in common digital tools (email, video calls, Microsoft Office).
