Manager Group Card Accounts

About the role

The Manager Group Card Accounts will oversee the end‑to‑end management of card suspense accounts, settlements and related operations for KCB Group. This senior position ensures compliance with regulatory standards while driving efficiency across intercompany and external card schemes.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure card suspense accounts and settlements are processed within stipulated timelines.
• Manage charge‑backs, merchant payments, card‑holder payments and related exceptions.
• Monitor aging balances, enforce TATs, and resolve issues in line with bank policies.
• Oversee intercompany card accounts, international card schemes and local switches.
• Lead card‑operations projects to adapt to business and regulatory changes.
• Produce detailed MIS analysis and commentary on suspense and compliance reports, identifying root causes and corrective actions.
• Provide leadership, coaching and stakeholder engagement to align team performance with business goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (any discipline); CPA Part 2 preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in banking operations, with at least 2 years in card business or card operations.
• Proven experience in reconciliation/management of suspense accounts, audit & risk awareness, data analysis and presentation of management reports.
• Strong people‑management and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
