About the role
The Manager – Mobilization will lead all mobilization activities across selected Indian states to place trained women and girls in the company’s factories, primarily as Sewing Machine Operators. The role requires sourcing candidates from skill training agencies, building a community‑level mobilizer team, and ensuring a steady, time‑bound supply of qualified candidates to meet production needs.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and source women/girl candidates from government and private skill training providers, educational institutions, women collectives, and community groups.
- Recruit, train, and supervise a network of Mobilizers at community and block levels.
- Coordinate closely with skill vertical teams, plant officials, and corporate functions (HR, Marcom, Corporate Affairs) to align recruitment timelines.
- Facilitate counselling, screening, and enrollment of candidates into skill training programs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders such as government skill development schemes (Samarth, PMKVY, DDUGKY, RSETI) and NGOs working on women’s livelihood.
- Prepare regular monitoring reports, documentation, and performance dashboards for senior leadership.
Required profile
- Master’s or postgraduate degree in Social Work, Rural Development, Business Management or related field from a recognized institute (e.g., IIFM, IRMA, XISS, XIMB, TISS).
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years leading projects on women’s empowerment, livelihood creation, or grassroots employment.
- Proven experience building and managing development teams.
- Deep knowledge of government and non‑government networks in the skilling and livelihood ecosystem at village, block, district, state, and national levels.
- Strong professional relationships with stakeholders across the skill development and education sectors.
