Manager, Partnerships Card Issuing

About the role

KCB Group is seeking a senior professional to lead the growth of its card portfolio through strategic partnerships. The Manager, Partnerships Card Issuing will design and execute partnership initiatives that increase credit‑card utilization, spend, and revolving rates while delivering added value to cardholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the card tactical plan to acquire new partnership opportunities.
• Negotiate pricing and contractual terms with partners and ensure seamless system integration.
• Set up instalment plans and discount schemes at partner points of sale.
• Oversee customer onboarding, resolve partnership‑related queries, and reactivate lapsed partnerships.
• Manage the Card Partnership team, fostering people development and performance.
• Monitor non‑performing loans (NPL) within the card business and ensure compliance with KYC, AML/CFT regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a business‑related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in card issuing, including sales, marketing, and portfolio management.
• At least 2 years of experience with Visa and MasterCard operations.
• Proven track record in business development and partnership management.
