About the role

We are seeking a proactive Marketer to drive B2B sales and maintain strong relationships with traders involved in Kenya‑China import/export activities. You will focus on delivering excellent customer service pipelines and expanding our client base across SMEs, informal market traders, and corporate manufacturers.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a high percentage of returning traders through effective customer service pipelines.
• Identify and pitch to target clients, including SMEs, informal traders (e.g., Gikomba or Kamukunji merchants), and corporate manufacturers importing or exporting goods between Kenya and China.
• Develop and execute marketing strategies tailored to the freight forwarding, customs clearance, and express courier sectors.

Required profile

• 2–4 years proven B2B sales and marketing experience within freight forwarding, customs clearance, or express courier industries in Kenya.
• Solid understanding of the China‑to‑Kenya importing process, including Incoterms, container consolidation, and Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) customs compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Marketing, International Trade, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
