Marketing Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Marketing Assistant to support our commercial team in Nairobi. The role will help drive campaigns, manage communications and maintain our online presence within the healthcare sector.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and delivery of company campaigns, promotions, events, and customer communications.
• Draft and update routine business content such as presentations, product information, announcements, customer emails, and promotional materials.
• Maintain the company’s online presence by updating approved content and scheduling regular communications.
• Support the preparation of sales and business development materials.
• Record incoming enquiries and ensure they are passed to the appropriate person for follow‑up.
• Maintain accurate customer and prospect information within company systems, including contact records, activity notes, follow‑up dates, and opportunity information.
• Help prepare customer lists, contact groups, and campaign records.
• Assist with routine communication to prospective and existing customers.
• Monitor incoming messages through agreed channels and direct them appropriately.
• Coordinate meetings, appointments, webinars, exhibitions, and other business events.
• Prepare basic activity reports for management, including enquiry volumes, response rates, customer activity, and campaign results.
• Support the upkeep of company templates, image libraries, promotional stock, and other business materials.
• Conduct basic research on customers, competitors, and market developments.
• Liaise with external suppliers such as designers, printers, photographers, or event providers when instructed.
• Provide general administrative support to the commercial team and undertake other reasonable duties that contribute to customer service and business growth.

Required profile

• Mid‑level marketing experience (minimum 2 years).
• Strong written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
