Marketing Business Intelligence Fellowship

About the role

BURN is a social venture that designs, locally produces, and distributes clean‑burning cookstoves in Kenya. The Marketing Business Intelligence Fellowship will support the sales and marketing team by managing data, analysing trends, and helping optimise campaigns.

Key responsibilities

• Manage product tracking and consumer‑engagement database, troubleshoot issues and build new functionality.
• Analyze data and prepare reports from marketing activities, sales registrations, and SMS/phone surveys.
• Monitor sales data and advise the sales & marketing team weekly on trends.
• Understand the Kenyan media landscape and communicate market share, demographics and current events to management.
• Monitor, analyse and optimise ROI of marketing campaigns.
• Help create and track sales & marketing KPIs and communicate data to staff.
• Implement and monitor CRM software for use by sales staff.

Required profile

• Technical background preferred.
• Experience in data analysis and reporting.
• Good communication skills.
• Knowledge of sales and marketing fields.
• Coding skills, particularly Python.

What we offer
