Marketing Manager - Agribusiness

About the role

Our client is seeking a hands‑on Marketing Manager to lead local marketing activities and expand impact across rural and semi‑rural communities in Kenya. The role focuses on turning strong products and real customer stories into compelling, emotional marketing that drives awareness, leads, sales support and brand trust.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute local marketing plans that support sales growth across Kenya.
• Craft storytelling around customer impact, savings, clean cooking, bio‑fertiliser and sustainability.
• Create and manage content for social media, digital campaigns, field marketing, videos, posters and sales materials.
• Collaborate with the sales team to design lead‑generation campaigns and improve conversion rates.
• Support product launches in new regions, hubs and partnership initiatives.
• Manage relationships with local agencies, designers, photographers, videographers and media suppliers.
• Track campaign performance, analyse results and optimise future activities.
• Ensure all marketing assets are clear, consistent and aligned with the HomeBiogas brand.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Agriculture, Agribusiness, Environmental Studies or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, content creation or brand roles.
• Strong storytelling ability and experience producing customer impact stories.
• Proven experience managing social‑media channels, campaigns and marketing collateral.
• Ability to work closely with sales teams and understand field realities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Swahili.
• Practical, hands‑on mindset with fast execution and strong project‑management skills.
