Marketing Manager – FMCG

About the role

The Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies for our fast‑moving consumer goods portfolio. Reporting to senior leadership, you will drive brand growth, product launches and market expansion across Kenya.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement annual and quarterly marketing plans aligned with business objectives.
• Manage marketing budgets, ensuring optimal ROI.
• Conduct market research, analyse consumer trends and competitor activity to inform strategy.
• Identify new market opportunities and emerging consumer needs.
• Lead brand development and maintain consistent brand identity across all channels.
• Oversee product marketing campaigns from concept through execution, including packaging, pricing and promotions.
• Drive go‑to‑market strategies for new product launches, coordinating sales, production and distribution teams.
• Plan and execute advertising and promotional campaigns across multiple channels, monitoring performance and optimizing results.
• Prepare regular reports on marketing effectiveness and brand performance.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG marketing.
• Proven track record in brand building and product marketing.
• Strong strategic thinking, leadership and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
