About the role
The college is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Technician specialized in automotive systems to join its teaching team. The successful candidate will deliver practical and theoretical instruction to students pursuing automotive engineering qualifications.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct classroom and workshop training sessions in automotive engineering.
- Maintain and demonstrate use of workshop equipment and diagnostic tools.
- Assess student performance and provide feedback.
- Ensure training activities comply with TVETA licensing requirements.
Required profile
- Craft certificate/Level 5 in automotive engineering or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution.
- Licensed trainer status with TVETA and any other required bodies.
- Pedagogy qualification demonstrating ability to teach.
Required skills
- Automotive engineering knowledge.
