Mechanical Ventilation Technician (HVAC)

About the role

Skyline Sales and Services Limited is seeking three experienced Mechanical Ventilation Technicians to join its Nairobi team. The role focuses on design, duct work, installation, maintenance and repair of HVAC‑R systems for commercial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Install new HVAC‑R systems according to specifications and industry standards.
• Visit sites, assess conditions and present conclusive proposals.
• Perform installation, routine maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of HVAC equipment.
• Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure timely project completion.
• Utilise AutoCAD and MS Project for system design and project planning.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety protocols.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC‑R) or a related field.
• 3–4 years of hands‑on experience in HVAC‑R maintenance, installation and repair.
• Valid driving licence (preferred).
• Female candidates are highly preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD for mechanical design.
• Proficiency in MS Project for project planning.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC‑R system installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.
