About the role
This position sits at the heart of GiveDirectly’s earned‑media strategy. You will combine hands‑on pitching with the strategic cultivation of independent voices that can credibly champion cash‑transfer programmes.
Key responsibilities
- Research and identify journalists, newsletter authors, podcasters and public thinkers relevant to cash‑transfer topics.
- Craft and deliver pitches that earn genuine media attention.
- Prepare GiveDirectly spokespeople for media engagements.
- Manage outreach tracking systems from first contact through to final placement.
- Develop AI‑powered workflows, tools and automations to make the communications function faster, smarter and more scalable.
Required profile
- Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Mandatory work experience (as indicated in the posting).
