Medical Officer

About the role

The Medical Officer will deliver comprehensive medical care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow‑up. The role requires a compassionate approach, strong clinical judgment, and collaboration with the healthcare team.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans.
• Perform medical procedures and ensure appropriate patient management.
• Monitor patient progress and make clinical decisions as needed.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records.
• Provide health education and preventive care guidance.
• Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other professionals to ensure high‑quality care.
• Ensure compliance with medical standards, safety protocols, and ethical practices.
• Participate in clinical meetings and support continuous improvement of services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBChB).
• Minimum 2 years post‑qualification experience.
• Education obtained outside Kenya (e.g., Turkey, Uganda, or other recognized institutions).
• Valid professional registration and practicing licence.
• Strong clinical and patient‑care skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• High professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment.
• Immediate availability.
